The studio is located at 20 Merrimac Square, Merrimac, Massachusetts, in the center of town, on Route 110/Main Street, on the third floor (the entrance is to the left of the Merrimac House of Pizza). From I-495, take exit 53 (Broad Street). From I-495 South, take a right at the end of the exit; left if from I-495 North. At the end of the street (at the fire station), take a left and head into the square. The studio will be on the left. Please park behind the building; the parking in front is for short term parking.

Competition Team Rate/Unlimited Classes
New in Fall, 2016! Unlimited students will receive 4 private lessons or duo lessons included in this plan! If choosing to do a competition routine, please advise that an additional 4-6 lessons would be needed/purchased. This plan is autopay only. $299/month.
Private Lessons/Solo Routines
Private lesson rate: $40/lesson Duo lesson rate: $65/lesson Trio lesson rate: $90/lesson
Students enrolled in Competition Team and take 4 or more classes/week can choose to do a solo, duet, or trio that will be performed in the winter show & dance competitions. Dance solos/duos/trios must be started in October. Private lessons meet twice a month for 30 minutes per lesson. Competition private lessons MUST be enrolled in Autopay OR must be paid in full prior to the start of lessons (10 lessons). Note: Additional competition fees apply.
Aspiring Dancer Plan (ages 9-13)
For dancers with the dedication to attain their highest potential. This plan is by invitation only. Classes must include competition team, dance troupe, a ballet class, and one other stule class. This rate also includes 6 duo lessons or 6 solor lessons. These lessons may be used for technique with a teacher or to compete a solo or duo routine (teacher's discretion.) This plan is autopay only. $199/month.
Choose 5 different dance styles to become a well-rounded dancer! This plan is autopay only. $169/month.

Semi-private and private lessons are available for children, adults, and wedding couples by appointment. The cost of private lessons are $70/hour.
Yoga is a 4-week class and costs $36.
Generally the studio follows the school system in calling a snow day. The studio answering machine will be updated between noon and 2:00 pm with class cancellation information.
Typically, Dance Technics follows the Massachusetts school holidays. We will have a calendar of dates we are closed.
If you're taking a class, please park behind the building. The spaces in front are for short term parking.
We have a gift shop! We stock a variety of dance gearshoes, tights, leotards & Dance related gift items. The shop is open during class hours, or by appointment. If you need to register for classes, you can get a copy of the registration form (a 7K PDF file).
Any style leotard with pink or white tights. Dancer's need both pink ballet shoes and black tap shoes. We ask that students wear traditional ballet shoes, and not the type that are more like "slippers". Dance Technics and all dance stores carry traditional ballet shoes.
A black leotard with black pants, shorts or tights. Students may also wear a fitted, black t-shirt or tank top.
Any color leotard with pink or white tights. Traditional pink ballet shoes are required. Students are allowed to wear a ballet skirt or leg warmers.
Students need to have both black jazz shoes and black tap shoes. A black leotard and either black jazz pants, black shorts, or black tights. Students can wear a black dance shirt or tank top over their leotard.
A black leotard OR black "dance" t-shirt or tank top. Black jazz pants are required. In the warmer weather, students can wear black shorts. All hip hop students are required to wear the dress code.
Creative Dance: Any colored leotard an tights. Children may wear a leotard/skirt combo outfit. Black tap shoes and pink ballet shoes are needed for this class.

Dive into the Latin craze and learn hot, sizzling moves from the dance styles of merengue, salsa, cha cha, rhumba, and tango.
The grace of the slip jig and the percussive rhythms of the heavy reel leave the Irish Step offering any dancer the best of both worlds. This form can be easily compared to tap and ballet, however, its cultural roots stand alone.
