The Summer 2012 Schedule

All workshops and sessions are available July 9 through August 17.

The Dance Workshops

The Dance Workshop includes ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, and hip hop and meets twice a week. Students interested in or are currently in our Dance Troupe, Competition Team, and any advanced classes are required to take a minimum of 2 weeks of Dance Workshop.

Fees: $40/week for Dance Technics students; $45/week for non-Dance Technics students.
Registration period: Tuesday, March 1 - Friday, July 18 (sign up before May 1 and save 20%!)

Our summer classes are held in the Merrimac, Massachusetts studio, on Route 110, just off exit 53 on I-495. Get a copy of the Summer 2012 brochure.

Mondays & Wednesdays

• 5:00-7:00 pm - Dance workshop for ages 8-10
• 7:00-9:00 pm - Dance workshop for ages 11-13

Tuesdays and Thursdays

• 5:00-7:00 pm - Dance workshop for ages 6-8
• 7:00-9:00 pm - Dance workshop for ages 14+

Half-Day Dance Camp

Mondays and Wednesdays

Students will learn two hours of dance that will include ballet, jazz/hip hop, and tap followed by 1 hour of arts & crafts! (this will include a break for drinks/snacks)

• 9:00-Noon - Ages 6-9

Tuesdays and Thursdays

Students will learn ballet, jazz, lyrical/contemporary, hip hop/acro, and will get the opportunity to student choreograph a routine for this years’ Merrimac Town Day!

• 9:00am-Noon - Ages 9½-12½

The Half-Day Camp tuition is $65/week.

Individual Classes

The following classes run in 3-week sessions: July 9-27 or July 30-August 17. Each session is $36 (Ballet/Pointe* is $90/session).

• Monday, 4:00-5:00 pm - Hip Hop/Acro (ages 7-9)
• Mondays, 7:30-8:30 pm - Hip Hop & Jazz (ages 12+)
• Mondays and Wednesdays, 6:00-7:30 pm - Ballet/Pointe* (ages 12+)
• Tuesdays, 4:00-5:00 pm - Tap/Ballet/Jazz (ages 5½-7)
• Tuesdays, 5:00-6:00 pm - Irish Step, ages 7+ (beginner)
• Tuesdays, 6:00-7:00 pm - Irish Step, ages 12+ (must have some experience)
• Tuesdays, 9:00-10:00 am - Creative Dance (ages 3-5)
• Fridays, 1:00-2:00 pm - Creative Dance (ages 3-5)

*Ballet/Pointe is for students currently enrolled in Ballet. Pointe work will be given to those students that have had a minimum of 1 year on Pointe.
